GOOD MORNING ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I made it through another show season. I still have a voice and my feet still fit into my shoes. You wouldn’t think that standing arround for 8 to 10 hours talking about fishing with your friends for 5 days would be so tiring.
I must be getting old .

Our good friend Harry Okuda stopped by the booth to say hello and reminisce about fishing, and to talk about the Make-A-Wish Tuna Challenge 2009.
The Tuna Challenge has raised over $1.5 million since 1994 for the Make-A Wish Foundation, which grants the wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions.
The Big Game 90 is proud to be a sponsor of the Make-A-Wish Tuna Challenge again this year – it’s a great event for a wonderful cause. Check out the Tuna Challenge website to see how you can get involved.

Well it’s two days down and three days to go at the Del Mar Fred Hall show and Boy-O Boy we have been busy. It seems that every guy and gal that has fished with Mike or myself in the last 25 years has stopped buy to say hello. We have been busy signing up folks that took advantage of the great deals that TIBURON, OKUMA & the BIG GAME have to offer at the show.
Mean while down at the boat yard Mike, Jake, Doug ,Brad, Aaron and a whole host of yard guys have been putting the old girl through Coast Guard Inspection and installing two new generators as well as doing the thousand other maintenance projects to her ready for the season.

They will have overnight trips on line leaving nightly. Cost of the trips are $135 but book early and 2 people fish for $199.00

HELLO ALL!
Rumors of seabass at catalina were going around the show and some of the Long beach landings last week but the rumors were proven true when Capt. Ray on the Toronado reported catching 3 fish Sunday morning while sitting on a spot of fish that he had found on the sonar. Ray said that it was a ^^$%(&& spot of fish and if the (*^^&$seals had left them alone they might have made a real nice catch of seabass.
Well we are out of the water and will be putting in new generators as well as doing our yearly coastguard inspections.
Ray you will have a 3 week head start on us. Just enough time to get them rounded up for us. The Thunderbird was at Clemente Sunday and reported seeing large schools of yellows chasing bait but didn’t land any.
The BIG GAME will start the 2009 nine season with a couple of 2 day trips - A 976 tuna charter April 2 & 3, and we have an open party trip April 4 & 5.
