Reports From the Bridge

The Big Game 90 returned this morning from a fun filled 2 1/2 day trip.

The first day they stayed at Catalina and put 13 nice WSB on the boat, including this one.

The second day they spent most of the day at S B I they didn’t find any seabass or yellows there so after puting lots of good eating lings and rockfish in the bags they came back to Catalina in the evening hoping for more seabass action but the fish didn’t corporate.

Capt. Mike just called in to let me know that a boat returning from a Long Range trip  found an area of Albacore and Blue-fin this morning and they have over 40 fish on the boat. They are reported to be 265 miles from San Diego.

Get get a hall pass and book an early season 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 trip or better still we still have some spots on the 4th of July 6 day OKUMA /MOODY MARLIN sponsored trip.

The Big Game 90 picked up 12 nice seabass yesterday but nothing as far as seabass go for today so far. Still plenty of time left to fish and remember alot of fish were caught in the afternoon yesterday.

The next chance to ride the Big Game 90 will be for a seabass special leaving Saturday night June 5. Remember to book early and 2 go for just $199.

Mike and the boys took the Monrovia Police Officers Ass. out for their annual charter on the Big Game. This group is very lucky each year and this year was no exception!
They got the day in before the wind got too bad. and managed to score on some nice whites and 3 halibut

Good Monday morning
Capt. Mike and the boys fished 4 days last week at 3 different islands for good bass and rock fishing but very little on the exotics. “We caught 1 white seabass and 4 halibut and a small black that was relisted. We also hooked a few more mystery fish that we lost in the kelp.” Mike said the weather was great and the conditions are improving each day.
