Capt. Mike Jewett reporting in this afternoon.

Mike said they had a few hours to kill so they made a swing by San Martin this morning and found good conditions and some breezing spots of yellows on the 6 fathom spot. Mike said They caught a few nice yellows on yo-yo jigs and dropper loops.

Then it was time to head on down the Baja Coast. They should arrive on the tuna grounds bellow Cedros at first light in the morning.

After a few drifts for reds and lings this morning they are on their way home and the traveling is great.

Mike reported fun fishing for Yellows ,Tuna , Dorado, even a few groper and a  surprise wahoo.

Never say die Mike said that if conditions are right they will stop at San Martin for an evening go at the yellows. There have been several reports the last few days that the spots below the island are holding nice quality fish.

Mike said he just wanted to check out the Island for the upcoming 2 1/2 day trip departing Nov. 5

They should arrive at arround 9AM IN San Diego tomorrow morning

Departing Thursday evening Nov. 5 at 8pm and returning Sunday morning Nov.8

AA LURES & Okuma will be sponsoring this trip. Tony and his pro staff will be on board doing seminars and giving out some very nice tackle packs to everyone on the trip.       
OKUMA will provide some great JACK-POT prizes.

Attention all stations                                                                                              

We have some last minute openings on 3 of our longer trips this month.

Trip #77 a 3 1/2 day departing this Wednesday evening at 8 pm has 3 openings the price is $529 + permits and food

Trip #79 a 5 1/2 day departing Oct. 13 at noon price is $829 + food and permits

Trip # 81A this is a DOC SKI 7 day charter departing and one of his guys passed away last month and we are trying to fill the spot for him. the price including food is $1400 permits are extra.

Because of the great fishing at San Martin Island we have also moved the AA lures charter to Depart from San Diego and added a 1/2 day to the trip

The price is the same $299+ permits open galley.

The trip will depart Thursday evening November 5 at 7pm and return Sunday morning at 6am. Every passenger will receive a plano tackle box filled with AA lures selected just for this trip. We will be targeting yellows and perhaps some late season tuna and of course the bass bonito and rockfish that the Island is famous for.
Tony and his pro staff will be on hand doing seminars and just visiting with the passengers getting new ideas for some new products. This is going to be a fun filled trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
