Just a quick note before I take off for my annual goose hunting trip.

For those of you who like fishing ling cod & shallow water rock fish with a chance to catch some yellowtail. The rockfish season is open in Mexican waters. We are running 3 Collette/San Martin trips this winter. These popular 2 1/2 day trips will be over the weekend                              The first trip departs the 26th of december and returns the morning of the 29th. the price is $599 but if you book in advance two go for $849 food & permits are included

Reporting in from San Nicolas this afternoon said that the ling cod fishing and quality rock fishing is as good or even better than all of the hype

MIKE SAID” it’s as good as it gets and the lings are really nice size”

also to make it even better the weather is flat calm.

The BIG GAME90 & crew will be on the hunt for surface action tomorrow we will keep you posted.

The Big Game 90 now at Long Beach Marina Sportfishing returned this morning from their 2.5 day trip. They picked up 7 yellowtail on Friday with lots of big bonito to pull on at the Cortez Bank then headed over to San Nicholas for some outstanding lingcod fishing. Easy limits on the lings to 22 pounds and great rock fishing.

As always good times on the Big Game 90 and everyone went home with sacks of fish.

The Big Game 90 goes for another 2.5 day trip this Thursday night November 13.

Ride in Style Ride the Big Game 90

MIKE JEWETT checking from the cortez bank at 1pm this afternoon said they are catching a few yellows but haven’t found the mother load yet.

The weather is fantastic and conditions look good.

Mike also reported that the rock fishing is very good and they aren’t even trying very hard for them.

Mike and the crew would like to thank everyone at LONG BEACH MARINA SPORTFISHING for the warm welcome when the arrived yesterday.

It is a real pleasure to run charters and open party trips form this great little landing in Long Beach
