In Case you haven’t noticed over the last week the water has warmed and the Seabass and Yellows have started biting.

Some of the 6 pac & privet boats had limits on the Seabass this last week and yellows have Ben showing up more and more each day.

We have a 2 1/2 day trip departing Thursday May 17 and returning Sunday Morning

This trip will give you Maximum fishing time for the the Seabass and Yellows.

Mike Jewett calling in form San Clemente Island.
He said they made about 4 scoops of Squid this morning before the seals got on them but no seabass yet.
The water is a bit colder than last weekend due to the wind earlier in the week but they do have nice weather now and hopefully the water will warm with all of the sunshine today. Mike did say that one of the other sportboats made Squid on the back side of Catalina last night. This is great news and hopefully the seabass will make a showing there in the next few days.
This news comes just in time. We will be starting our 2 1/2 day trips next week. These trips are scheduled to take advantage of being out for 3 nights giving you the advantage of getting several chances at making a catch of seabass and your are able to legally bring home the Maximum of 3 limits on these trips.
The first of these 2 1/2 day trips departs Next Thursday and returns Sunday

Good news this morning from the Big Game 90. Water is warming up and conditions are looking great. The Big Game 90 is on the first of a two day trip and put their first seabass of the year on deck early this morning. Big Game Mike will keep us up to date during the trip.
