Hear are the ground rules.

1–First Person pays FULL price plus Food Permits & Taxes second person pays for only Food Permits & Taxes.

2–Reservations must be booked through the Big Game office only  between January 25, 2012 and April 30, 2012 no exceptions!!!!!!!!!!!!

3–A 50% deposit is due at booking

4–All deposits are nonrefundable

5–Space is limited on all trips. ( 20 spots or less on each trip)

I’m sorry it’s taken so long to get next year’s schedule out I’m just getting slower as I get older.
 
I know a lot of you like to take advantage of the 50% discount for booking early.
Please remember that there is a limited amount of the 50% discounted spots on each trip.
So pick your dates and call Larry. A 25% deposit is due at bookong  and will hold your spot. Then you can make 2 payments of 25% each during the year and just pay the remaining 25% at departure.

This offer ends January 1 2012 but if you wait until the last minuet you might not get on the trip you want.

HSUS and DFG: ‘Union with the devil”

The California Department of Fish and Game just released a News Release
in partnership with the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the
largest and most vocal anti-hunting group not just in the U.S., but in
the world!

It doesn’t matter what the News Release was about, the problem here is that HSUS has bought the Department of Fish and Game for a $5,000 check here and a $5,000 check there, providing them with free advertising from what is supposed to be a sportsman-based state agency.

This is all a well-thought out plan by HSUS, to make inroads on hunting and fishing from within. HSUS now has Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs) actively working in California under the auspices of the DFG. They are going through the DFG Training Academy that trains wardens. And even worse, one of the HSUS LEO’s is actually teaching a class on animal cruelty to wardens — many times misrepresenting what actually is animal cruelty, according t! o a WON source who sat in one of those classes. 

The season is winding down (not the fishing it’s still great) and we only have a few trips remaining.

Most of you are aware that we hear on the Big Game support our men and women in uniform by giving the  a 50% discount on our trips.

We are very happy to do this as our way of saying thank you for their service.
Well now 5 of those servicemen need a little help from some of you.

They are booked on an upcoming 6 day trip departing on October 2 and returning on October 8th. and will not be able to go on the trip because of an early deployment order they just received. They have asked us to try and sell their spots for them.

They are fully paid($930) I have even provided Okuma rental packages in this price and will honor that to anyone needing tackle. Permits and fuel surcharge are extra.

 They started the trip out to the south west looking at that albacore area and found a few albacore and blue-fin but not the mother load they where looking for. The 2nd day was spent looking at the area where the yellow-fin have been coming from but that day the fish where down for the most part and they only caught a few samples and some yellows and a couple of dorado.

Mike made the run into San Martin that night and found 67 to 68 degree water on all of the spots in the dark so the decided to give it a try in the morning. As luck would have it the water had dropped 3 to 5 degrees by morning and only the big bonito wanted to play .

At about 9 Am Mike got the word that the Yellow-fin had popped up right in the area he had been in the day before. So Mike made a mad dash bach out there. The old girl can still make some good time even if it cost us $100 an hour to do it but they did get out to the tuna area in time to catch almost 100 fish before dark.  With the Albies, Blue-fin, Yellows, and Dorado and last minute Yellow-fin it was a fun trip for all. (except for the guy who will pay the fuel bill that’s fishing)

We are back out on a 3 1/2  trip tonight and then Tony Paino and the AA Lures guys are back for a 3 day trip day with lots of give aways for everyone on the trip.
